💜 A Message from the Principal
Hello, Fountain Green Families! December is a wonderful time at FGE as we celebrate learning, kindness, and community spirit. The weather is getting colder so please make sure that your kiddos are dressed appropriately. We go outside for recess and activities most days. With our Christmas Program we offer two performances, a matinee and an evening. This is to keep our crowds smaller so everyone can have a good seat. The preschool only performs in the matinee. Please pick one of the performances to attend and come enjoy the show. Happy holidays everyone!

🏙 Dec 5 – 5th Grade Field Trip to JA City
🎄 Dec 22 – Christmas Program “Twas The Night Before Christmas”
• Matinee at 1:00 pm
• Evening Program at 6:00 pm
🎅 Santa Claus will be at City Hall, provided by the Lions Club.
🚒 The Fire Department will have a drive-thru display. See flyer for details.
⏰ Dec 23 – Early Out at 11:30 AM
🥞 Breakfast served to ALL students at 8:30 am (No preschool this day)
🎁 Dec 24 – Jan 2 – Christmas Break
✏ Jan 5 – Students return to school

December 22, 2025 ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas
Two performances: Matinee at 1:00 pm and Evening Performance @ 6:00 pm
All students perform (Preschool only performs at the matinee)
Please pick ONE performance to attend, that way we have space for all to enjoy
City activities and Santa Clause at the City Hall after the program
🔔Reminders
🖊️ Label all coats, hats, and gloves — our lost and found is filling up fast! The weather is getting colder. Students go outside for recess and PE, weather permitting. They will need warm clothing during these activities. If we get snow students may bring sleighs. The sleighs should be labeled with the student’s name, must be left outside, and the school assumes no risk if the sleigh is damaged, stolen, or lost. Thank you for your help.
Yearbook purchasing will be done online this year. To purchase go to link.entourageyearbooks.com then go to Fountain Green Elementary 2026 Yearbook. The price is $14 until 12/31/25.
*If you have a student that needs a coat we have some gently used/clean ones at the school. Stop by and take a look.*
